Shustoke Barn Coleshill Wedding for Inez & Jeremy

Wedding Photography Shustoke Barn Coleshill 51

I’m always excited to document the specific moments that add flair to every celebration as a wedding photographer. I recently had the privilege of photographing a stunning wedding at the Shustoke Barn Coleshill, Warwickshire.

Venue that seamlessly combines elegance with rustic charm. This stunning location, set in a picturesque countryside setting, proved to be the perfect backdrop for any special events.

The Getting Ready Bridal Party

The bride got ready at the Coleshill Hotel, which is close to the ceremony location. As the bride and her bridal party were getting ready for the big day, there was a lot of excitement and joy in the air.

The delicate lace of the bridal gown, the sparkle of the jewellery, the last touches of makeup, perfume and of course, the bridal shoes—all the parts that would fit together to create the ideal wedding day look—were among the finer details that I managed to capture.

When the bride’s parents arrived to see their daughter in her wedding dress for the first time, it was one of the morning’s most emotional moments. Her father’s expression was priceless. This was a very special moment that I was privileged to photograph.

The Groom and Moments Before the Ceremony

Having left the bride to spend time with her family, I headed to St. Cuthbert’s Church, where the groom and his family were just about to arrive. The groom, who has a passion for vintage cars, came in style … in his favoured red car. It was a lovely addition that gave the day character and charm. Excitement began to build as guests arrived and took their seats in anticipation of the ceremony, meanwhile I captured some candid photos of the groom and his family.

I was waiting outside of the church for an opportunity to photograph the bride’s entrance. This is always a lovely and meaningful moment that I knew would be cherished forever.

The couple asked me to photograph the bride walking down the aisle with her dad. The ceremony was filled with love, laughter, and emotion. Everyone shared a happy tear, including myself as it reminded me of my wedding day. 🙂

 Confetti and Cheers

After the ceremony, as a newlywed couple, it was time for the traditional confetti throw.

The guests did an excellent job of covering the couple with beautiful flower petals.

The Reception at Shustoke Barn

Shustoke Barn is a truly breathtaking site. Known for its stunning scenery, the barn has very impressive Victorian architecture and a private courtyard with olive trees.

As the guests were having fun over drinks and appetisers, I was able to catch some amazing candid shots of the bride and groom enjoying the day.

Their courtyard is an ideal backdrop for family and friend group shots, and the rustic beauty of the barn’s inside made every shot magical. Inside, the amazing open kitchen and spacious bar created a warm, friendly atmosphere, where you could feel the energy rising for the rest of the evening.

As the day progressed, the couple made their grand entrance into the reception room, greeted and applauded by their guests. The atmosphere was amazing! You can see  I tried to capture the excitement of parents and the guests.

Because I was only required to stay until the wedding breakfast, I wanted to focus on the personal, genuine moments that describe the couple’s celebration.

Beautiful People, Perfect Weather, Perfect Day

The weather on the day was absolutely perfect – exactly what the couple had dreamed of for their wedding. The clear skies and golden sunshine added to the warmth of the occasion, making every outdoor shot even more magical.

There’s something magical about weddings at places like Shustoke Barn. The stunning venue, genuine moments and joy shared by friends and family make for an unique experience. This lovely couple’s wedding day was everything they dreamed of, and it was my pleasure to capture it.

Until next time, I can’t wait to share more lovely stories from the weddings I had the pleasure to photograph.
